Olivet Nazarene University provides the ONU Wi-Fi network for students, faculty, and staff with active accounts. Follow these steps to connect your Mac running the latest macOS to ONU. (Guests should use the ONUGUESTnetwork.)
Steps to Connect
- Open Wi-Fi Settings:
- Click the Apple menu in the top-left corner of your screen.
- Select System Settings (or System Preferences on older macOS versions).
- Navigate to Network > Wi-Fi.
- Ensure Wi-Fi is turned on.
2. Select ONU Network:
- In the list of available networks, click ONU, Do not choose ONUGUEST

Enter Credentials:
- When prompted, enter your ONU username without “@olivet.edu
- Enter your ONUnet password.
- Select "Remember this information"
- Select OK.
4. Please select continue on the Verify Certificate box.
5. Verify that you are connected to ONU and that you can surf the Internet.
